Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist
About.
I am a fully accredited member of the Irish Forum for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (IFPP) and the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP). I am a member of the Irish Circle of the Lacanian Orientation (ICLO-NLS).
I accept private referrals and work with both Finnish and English speaking individuals; adolescents, young adults and adults.
Qualifications.
I hold an MSc in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from University College Dublin School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School.
Experience.
I have worked both privately and for non-profit organisations as a mental health professional for the last decade. I orient the work by the singular needs of each person. My emphasis is on the building of a trusting relationship which allows for the working through of difficulties and challenges the client is experiencing.
I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues relating to interpersonal and relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement, problems of gender and sexuality, and symptoms relating to, for example, personality and eating disorders, trauma, depression, addiction and anxiety. Prior to my career in the mental health field, I founded and ran an eco-friendly manufacturing business.
Next Steps.
Please feel free to enquire about the work and/or book an initial consultation by filling the form in the Contact section.
I can meet in person in Castletownbere, Co. Cork and Dublin 9 as well as online.
Olen Irlannissa koulutettu suomenkielinen psykoterapeutti, ja työskentelen yksilöiden kanssa myös etänä.
